we decided that we needed to work out whereabouts to place our shelves on the wall before making them properly, just in case the size or length of them felt out of place. Below are some images that show us working on this issue.
Ellie then began working on the plinth, bringing her wall piece further into the space. This really blurred the line between the wall and the space surrounding the wall. It was particularly effective when the plinths and white paint spills were surrounding it as it cut through the blankness and provided a focal point for the installation.
